Aziza Seddik Receives Prestigious Certification from ICAO
The Tunisian Aziza Seddik, Director of the Regional Civil Aviation Security Training Center of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Tunis, has obtained an international certification as a trainer under the advanced training programs of the UN organization.
According to a statement from the ICAO center in Tunis, relayed by the Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) agency, this recognition makes her the first woman in the world to receive this international accreditation as a certified trainer in civil aviation.
Certification and Programs
This certification is part of the advanced training programs supervised by ICAO, a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for defining global standards for civil aviation and air safety. The Tunis center is part of the global network of Aviation Security Training Centres (ASTC), a system that brings together about thirty centers around the world and aims to strengthen the skills of professionals in the sector according to international standards.
Consolidating Tunis' Position
Thanks to this distinction, the Tunis Regional Center sees its position consolidated as a reference platform for air safety training in Africa and the Arab region. This achievement highlights the center's commitment to providing high-quality training programs that meet international standards, further solidifying its reputation as a leading institution in the field of civil aviation security.
