Avialys to Launch Research and Development Center in Tunisia, Focusing on AI, Cybersecurity, and Telecommunications

Eddy Taieb, President of Avialys, a French IT company, announced on his LinkedIn page the upcoming inauguration of a research and development center in Tunisia, specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and telecommunications. He described this move as a strategic expansion at the heart of technological innovation.

Tunisia: A Strategic Territory for New Technologies

Taieb explained his choice by highlighting the existing favorable ecosystem in Tunisia, comprising startups with AI as their primary domain of expertise. These startups have successfully developed their activities and made international breakthroughs thanks to funding. He emphasized that Tunisia is a strategic territory for new technologies.

Cyberdefense Pole to Reinforce Innovation and Digital Security

The President of Avialys also announced the development of a cyberdefense pole to strengthen innovation and digital security in Tunisia, aiming to build a trusted ecosystem in the country. This decision was made following his visit to Tunisia's technological hubs, including the Sousse Novation City technological pole (organized by the FIPA), from January 28 to February 1, and meetings with key players in Tunisia's IT sector.
