Tunisian Dermatologist Wins Prestigious International Award
Asmahane Souissi Receives ILDS Young Dermatologist International Achievement Award 2027 for Africa
The Tunisian dermatologist Asmahane Souissi, practicing at the Hospital of the Internal Security Forces in La Marsa, has been named the winner of the ILDS Young Dermatologist International Achievement Award 2027 for the Africa region. This distinction is awarded by the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS).
In a letter dated June 26, 2026, the ILDS indicates that the candidacy of the Tunisian specialist, presented by the African Society of Dermatology and Venereology, was selected after an evaluation by the organization's awards committee and validated by its board of directors during a meeting held on June 20, 2026.
The organization notes that it received a record number of applications this year, praising the level of engagement and achievements of young dermatologists around the world in the field of skin health.
The award will be officially presented to Asmahane Souissi during the opening ceremony of the 26th World Congress of Dermatology, which will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico, from June 21 to 26, 2027.
