Asma Daoudi, Founder of Lihaf, Wins Award at the 10th Edition of the Tunisian Women Entrepreneurs Trophies (FET)

Asma Daoudi, founder of Lihaf, was honored at the 10th edition of the Tunisian Women Entrepreneurs Trophies (FET) in the heritage category. This event, organized by Managers magazine in collaboration with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom and the European Union delegation, took place on February 24 and highlighted the achievements of nine women who have made a mark in their respective sectors.

Passionate about Tunisian craftsmanship, Asma Daoudi successfully combined her background in computer engineering with her love for decoration. With Lihaf, she created a brand that reinvents home textiles and interior decoration by incorporating traditional materials such as linen and haïk. Her goal is to promote Tunisian know-how while responding to the growing demand for products that are both modern and rooted in local culture.

This project emerged from a realization: Tunisian traditions are rich in underutilized materials and techniques in interior decoration. Asma decided to repurpose fabrics typically reserved for clothing to transform them into decorative elements, creating unique pieces. In addition to promoting craftsmanship, she contributes to job creation in Tunisia's interior regions, supporting trades such as houki.

Thanks to her innovative vision, Lihaf is experiencing impressive growth, with a 48% annual increase in revenue. By participating in international trade shows like Dar Déco in Paris, Asma plans to expand her network globally, with the opening of three showrooms abroad within the next five years.
