African AI Startups Can Now Apply to the Askya AI Growth Platform
African artificial intelligence startups can now apply to the Askya AI Growth Platform, a six-week program launched by Askya Investment Partners. Ten companies will be selected to receive free support aimed at strengthening their product, commercial strategy, and scalability capabilities. The program does not take any equity stake in the participating startups. However, upon completion, Askya may invest up to $200,000 in the most promising startup from the cohort in the form of an equity investment.
Eligibility Criteria
The program is designed for companies that have moved beyond the idea stage. Askya is seeking startups with an operational product that have begun to demonstrate commercial demand, particularly through paying customers or pilot projects. Companies can be located anywhere on the African continent and can range from MVP stage to Series A.
