Tunisian MPs and Regional Council Members Examine 2025 Budget Bill Proposals
Members of the Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP) and the National Council of Regions and Districts (CNRD) met on Monday, November 18, to discuss several proposals from the 2025 budget bill.
These hearing sessions allowed for debates on measures aimed at addressing the needs of various sectors.
Support for small cattle breeders received particular attention. Article 27 of the bill, sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, provides for devices, including financial aid, to support this category in the face of economic and climate-related challenges.
In the energy sector, Articles 53 and 54, defended by the Ministry of Industry, propose reducing taxes on hybrid vehicles and solar panels. These measures aim to encourage environmentally friendly practices and promote energy transition in Tunisia.
