Aesthetic Medical and Plastic Surgery Forum and Exhibition Held in Riyadh

Last Tuesday, Riyadh hosted the 7th edition of the "Aesthetic Medical and Plastic Surgery Forum and Exhibition." The three-day event highlighted the growing role of the private healthcare sector in improving and developing cosmetic services, in line with the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

During the exhibition, Ahmed Farooq, the Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, emphasized that Saudi Arabia had integrated foreign investments into its Vision 2030 strategy, encouraging foreign investors to produce their products locally.

As Saudi Arabia undergoes social changes and improves its quality of life, the demand for aesthetic medical services has rapidly increased, largely due to these developments.

In 2022-2023, Saudi Arabia ranked second in the Arab world with 306 cosmetic specialists and 29th globally.

The Kingdom's aesthetic medicine sector has surpassed 20 billion riyals (5.3 billion dollars), with an annual growth rate of nearly 9%.

The Kingdom boasts a large number of highly qualified local professionals, attracting clients from neighboring countries and around the world. Saudi Arabia is considered a leader in aesthetic surgery, dermatology, and dentistry in the Middle East.
