Call for Applications: Training Program for Dairy Value Chain Enterprises
A call for applications was launched yesterday, June 23, for the selection of enterprises operating in the dairy value chain. This initiative is part of the "Innovations for Agriculture and Agro-Food" (IAAA) project led by the Tunisian Agency for Agricultural Investment Promotion (APIA) and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), in partnership with the Thibar Dairy Competence Center.
This specialized training program is designed for entrepreneurs and staff members of selected enterprises. The objective is to provide advanced technical skills and practical knowledge, aligned with international standards, to improve production techniques and optimize the performance of dairy enterprises.
The training programs cover various aspects of production and management in the dairy sector:
- Fromager Level 1 (Fresh Cheese): details of the training
- Fromager Level 2 (Matured Cheese): details of the training
- Milk Collection Center Manager: details of the training
- Dairy Quality Controller: details of the training
- Dairy Laboratory Technician: details of the training
- Refrigeration Technician: details of the training
- Milking Equipment Technician: details of the training
- Hoof Trimming and Dehorning of Cattle: details of the training
It is worth noting that this initiative is mandated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented jointly by the APIA, mandated by the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture, and GIZ Tunisia.
