Ministry of Cultural Affairs Announces Artistic Residency Program
The Ministry of Cultural Affairs is pleased to announce the opening of applications for three artistic residency programs, each lasting eleven months, at the Centre des Arts Vivants de Radès, starting from November 1st, 2025. These residencies are open to Tunisian visual artists specializing in ceramics, weaving, sculpture, engraving, or photography.
Application files must be submitted no later than May 30th, 2025, at 5:30 pm, either to the Directorate of Training and Recycling (4, rue de la Meuse-Bellevue, 1009 Tunis), the Ministry of Cultural Affairs (Central Order Office, 02 March 1934 Street, 1006 La Kasbah – Tunis), or sent to: bureau.dfr@mac.gov.tn.
The application file must contain:
- A letter addressed to the Minister of Cultural Affairs
- A candidate information sheet (available at the Directorate of Training and Recycling)
- A CV
- A detailed program of artistic activities planned during the residency
- A recent portfolio of works (on audiovisual media), accompanied by press articles
- Two stamped envelopes with the candidate's name and address
- A copy of the national identity card
Selected artists will be required to dedicate themselves exclusively to the realization of their artistic project in the workshops made available to them throughout the duration of their stay, as specified by the ministry.
