Tunisian Customs Reminder: Amnesty Application Deadline Approaching
The Tunisian Customs department reminded the public today, October 8, that October 31, 2025, is the deadline for submitting amnesty applications for individuals seeking to regularize their customs offenses or crimes committed before December 1, 2024.
According to the official statement, this measure allows offenders to benefit from a simplified settlement, provided that payment is made in one installment by December 31, 2025, at the latest. This provision is part of Article 75 of the 2025 Finance Act, which aims to encourage voluntary compliance and strengthen state revenue.
The Tunisian Customs department is urging concerned individuals to submit their applications within the given timeframe, reminding them that any application submitted after October 31 will not be eligible for the benefits provided by the amnesty program.
