AMI Insurance Publishes First-Half 2024 Financial Results, Revealing a Slight Decline in Global Revenue

AMI Insurance has released its financial results for the first half of 2024, showing a slight decrease in its overall revenue.

The company recorded a revenue of 83.6 million Tunisian dinars (Mtnd) as of June 2024, compared to 87.3 Mtnd during the same period last year, representing a 4.2% decline.

This decrease is mainly attributed to a contraction in the non-life insurance sector, which accounts for the bulk of AMI Insurance's activity. Specifically, premiums issued for automobile vehicles decreased by 3.3 Mtnd.

In parallel, life insurance premiums also dropped by 7.3%. Despite this downward trend, indemnified claims slightly increased by 1.8% to reach 48.1 Mtnd.

However, financial products and commissions showed relative stability, standing at 18.3 Mtnd and 10.5 Mtnd, respectively, compared to 18.6 Mtnd and 10.8 Mtnd in 2023.
