Amen Bank's Net Banking Product Sees 2.6% Annual Growth in Q2 2025

Amen Bank's net banking product has evolved by 2.6% year-over-year in the second quarter of 2025, reaching 158,108 MTND. In a context where declining interest rates have taken a toll on several banks, this performance is particularly noteworthy.

Interest Margin and Commissions

The interest margin has decreased by 30.6%, standing at 34,380 MTND. Net commissions have been established at 32,781 MTND, down 3.5%. However, portfolio revenues have saved the day, reaching 90,947 MTND in the second quarter, compared to 70,579 MTND during the same period in 2024. The bank's investment policy has made all the difference.

Semester Figures

The same trend is observed in the semester figures: -25.5% to 71,475 MTND for the net interest margin, -4.9% to 62,941 MTND for net commissions, and +30.9% to 173,826 MTND for portfolio revenues. The latter has an asset of 3,297,421 MTND as of June 30, 2024.

Credit and Deposit Evolution

Compared to December 31, 2024, the net credit balance has decreased by 128,936 MTND (7,170,557 MTND as of June 30, 2025). Deposits have totaled 8,698,103 MTND, representing a net collection of 682,118 MTND over the same period. This should boost the bank's loan-to-deposit ratio and improve the quality of its balance sheet.

Operating Expenses and Efficiency Ratio

Operating expenses have increased by 5.2%, reaching 118,003 MTND. The efficiency ratio has risen by 26 basis points to 38.28%.

Stable Semester Results and Awards

The figures indicate a stable semester result compared to the previous year. The bank continues to lay the foundations for quality management, confirming its MSI 20000 certification. For the second consecutive year, Amen Bank has been designated "Best Green Bank in Tunisia" for 2025 by Global Banking and Finance Review, attesting to its firm commitment to supporting its clients in their sustainability efforts and developing solutions adapted to the challenges of the green economy. In this context, the bank organized a meeting dedicated to energy transition and renewable energies.

Amen Bank has also been named "Best Bank in Tunisia" for the 6th consecutive year by Global Finance. Thanks to its @mennet platform, clients can submit consumer credit applications online, without the need for physical displacement.
