US Embassy in Tunis Announces Changes to Visa Services
The US Embassy in Tunis has announced a change to its visa services, introducing a new appointment and payment system set to launch in February 2025.
As of February 8, 2025, American visa applicants will be required to use a revamped digital platform. This platform aims to streamline appointment and payment procedures.
To ensure a smooth transition to this new system, the embassy's online booking tool and telephone assistance center will be temporarily unavailable from Wednesday, February 5 to Friday, February 7, 2025. During these three days, it will not be possible to schedule, modify, or cancel an appointment. However, individuals with scheduled interviews on February 5 or 6 must still present themselves at the embassy at the designated date and time.
Applicants are invited to regularly check the official portal www.ustraveldocs.com/tn/fr/ for updates and detailed instructions before the transition.
