Tunisie Leasing & Factoring Announces Sale of Subsidiary Alios Finance SA

Tunisie Leasing & Factoring informs the public that its French-law holding subsidiary, Alios Finance SA, which holds majority stakes in several specialized financing companies, primarily in leasing, and operates in several Sub-Saharan African countries, has finalized the sale of its participations in the companies "Safca" (Alios Finance Côte d'Ivoire), "Socca" (Alios Finance Cameroon), and "Sogaca" (Alios Finance Gabon) on May 8, 2025. This sale was made to the benefit of Crédit d'Afrique Group (Credaf Group), an Ivorian-law holding company, whose main shareholder is Serge-Aimé Bilé.

The buyer's press release provides more details, specifying that Alios Finance Côte d'Ivoire was sold with its branches in Burkina Faso, Mali, and Senegal. Once all necessary regulatory approvals are obtained, we can say that the sale process, which began at the end of 2023, will come to an end.

The Ivorian group is, in turn, a leader operating in several fields, such as the production of prefabricated concrete works used in construction, roads, electrification, and all areas of civil engineering. Through this operation, it aims to enrich the customer offer with credit-bail solutions diversified and expanded to digital innovations, deploy new products tailored to the specific needs of customers, consolidate and diversify financial and institutional partnerships, and offer new development perspectives to collaborators.

For Tunisie Leasing & Factoring, the contribution to the consolidated equity capital of the TLF Group amounts to -16,645 MTND according to the latest report of the auditors, i.e., -5.76% of the group's total equity capital. After this sale, the company's balance sheet will be significantly lightened, especially since it is consolidated using the global integration approach. We believe that focusing on the Tunisian market is more profitable. Despite a sluggish economic activity, the market has always expressed a strong demand for various leasing products.
