Airbus Inaugurates Major Engineering and Digital Transformation Center in Bengaluru

Airbus has just inaugurated one of its largest engineering and digital transformation centers outside of Europe in Bengaluru. Spanning nearly 82,000 square meters, this campus can accommodate up to 5,000 employees and will bring together engineers, maintenance specialists, and technical support experts.

Under One Roof

Under one roof, teams will work on aerospace engineering, digital transformation, aircraft maintenance, and customer service. The center will also serve as an innovation laboratory, exploring technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and cybersecurity applied to aviation.

Fostering Local Talent

However, Airbus is not limiting itself to technology. The hub is also designed as a springboard for local talent, with training, upskilling, and technical expertise at the heart of the project, in line with the national "Make in India" initiative.

Growing Importance of India in Global Aviation

This inauguration highlights the growing importance of India in global aviation. With rapidly growing air traffic and an increasingly active market, the country is becoming a strategic terrain for Airbus' innovation, maintenance, and supply chain on an international scale.
