Air Liquide Reports 14% Revenue Growth in Q1 2024

As of June 30, 2024, Air Liquide has recorded a 14% increase in revenue, rising from €16.6 billion in Q1 2023 to €18.9 billion during the same period in 2024, according to the company's activity indicators for Q1 2024.

Gross Margin on Raw Materials Up 24%

The gross margin on raw materials has also seen a significant increase of 24%, reaching €9.394 billion as of June 30, 2024. This growth is a result of the increased demand for air gases, as well as the resumption of local carbon dioxide supply, which was interrupted from September 2022 to September 2023 and partially offset by imports at a higher cost.

Value-Added Up 42%

Air Liquide's value-added has increased by 42%, reaching €6.436 billion as of June 30, 2024, compared to €4.546 billion during the same period in 2023.

Operating Profit Up 170%

Finally, it is worth noting that the company's operating profit has surged from €1.343 billion to €3.627 billion, representing a 170% growth. This increase is largely attributed to the growth in revenue.
