Smart Farm: The Tunisian Startup Revolutionizing Agriculture with Innovative Sensors

A Pioneer in Intelligent Agriculture

Smart Farm, led by Béchir Ben Brika, is a Tunisian company at the forefront of intelligent agriculture. Since its founding in 2018, it has distinguished itself as the first manufacturer of 100% Tunisian-made soil sensors dedicated to irrigation, with innovative ERP solution integration for optimal decision-making.

The S.sensor: A Game-Changer for Farmers

Smart Farm's technology aims to support farmers by offering the S.sensor, an adaptive soil moisture sensor designed for diverse environments. This device optimizes irrigation, a crucial factor in maximizing agricultural yields. Precise irrigation not only increases productivity but also avoids water waste and crop damage.

The Benefits of S.sensor

According to Ben Brika, the S.sensor offers numerous advantages. It provides precise data on soil conditions, including humidity, temperature, and nutrients, enabling farmers to regulate irrigation and fertilization optimally. This approach promotes healthy crop growth and significant yield increases.

Cloud-Based Platform for Easy Data Access

Smart Farm offers a cloud-based software platform accessible via mobile devices, facilitating data access and analysis for farmers. After more than two years on the market, Smart Farm has expanded its presence to several countries, including Tunisia, Senegal, Algeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Luxembourg, Jordan, Oman, and Libya, with over 100 installations completed.

Future Developments and International Expansion

For the future, the CEO announces continuous improvements to the solution to meet customer demands, including anti-theft and air quality monitoring features. The company is also focusing on international expansion, with signed contracts and ongoing negotiations to establish a global distribution network. In terms of revenue, the company has reached approximately 80,000 MTND and plans to continue growing in 2024 by developing in North Africa and the Gulf region, with ongoing trials for new developments.
