Tax Reminder: October Deadlines
The General Tax Directorate reminds taxpayers of the tax deadlines to be respected for the month of October. Individuals must submit their monthly declaration within the prescribed time limits, while taxpayers subject to the flat-rate regime have until the last day of the month to submit their quarterly declaration.
Additionally, individuals who were initially under the flat-rate regime but are now attached to the actual regime must also pay the provisional installment declaration before the deadline. For businesses, legal entities not subscribed to electronic declaration must submit their monthly declaration and pay the tax remotely before the end of the month.
It is essential to note that if the last day to submit a declaration falls on a Sunday or a public holiday, the submission can be made on the following day without incurring a penalty. The General Tax Directorate emphasizes that these dates correspond to the final deadlines for submitting declarations, not the only available day.
To avoid congestion in the finance offices or at the level of the computer system, it is recommended to proceed with the submission of declarations before these deadlines. Respecting these deadlines allows taxpayers to comply with tax legislation and avoid unnecessary complications.
