Startups Encouraged to Apply for the Africa Carbon Removal Accelerator (ACRA) Program
The Africa Carbon Removal Accelerator (ACRA) program is calling on startups to apply, offering in-depth expertise on Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) and accompanying entrepreneurs in this field.
Organized in partnership with Strathmore University and the Nuvoni Centre for Innovation Research, the ACRA program is led by CDR specialists. It facilitates connections with technological and political actors, major CDR buyers, certification bodies, and global financing experts, while adapting to the specificities of sub-Saharan Africa.
Participants will join a dynamic international community dedicated to CDR, offering opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and interaction with key players in a diverse and favorable ecosystem.
They will also gain access to the latest advances in CDR technologies with the highest potential for sustainable development in sub-Saharan Africa and discover the essential local elements for structuring a regional CDR ecosystem.
Applications are open until February 24, and the program will take place between April and December.
