Pursuit Aerospace Accelerates Tunis Expansion with New Building, 40% More Space, and 1,000+ Jobs

Pursuit Aerospace is significantly accelerating the development of its Tunisian facility, which specializes in precision casting for the aerospace industry. Launched on September 3rd, the project is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2027.

Key Expansion Details

  • New Infrastructure: A third building will be added, increasing the total site area by 40%.
  • Total Footprint: The Tunis site will exceed 140,000 square feet (approximately 13,000 m²).
  • Job Creation: The expansion is expected to create more than 1,000 jobs in the long term.

Enhanced Production Capabilities

The primary goal of this extension is to boost production capacities in precision casting and enable the group to perform several additional operations directly on-site.

Pursuit Aerospace manufactures complex components made from nickel and cobalt alloys using the investment casting (lost-wax) process in Tunis. These parts are primarily supplied to aerospace engine manufacturers, a market characterized by exceptionally high standards for precision and quality.

To support increased volumes, the new building will house additional furnaces and expanded capacity for the ceramic shell production lines. This upgrade will allow the group to better meet the demands of its current clients while taking on new production contracts.

Broadening the Scope of Operations

The expansion will also redefine the scope of operations conducted in Tunisia. Pursuit Aerospace plans to integrate post-casting machining and certain special treatments into the Tunis facility. Consequently, a larger portion of the manufacturing process will be executed locally, reducing reliance on off-site processing.

"These investments are designed to increase the site's casting capacities and develop new technical skills," stated Ben Adams, President and Chief Commercial Officer of Pursuit Aerospace.

Part of a Broader Global Growth Strategy

This expansion in Tunisia is part of Pursuit Aerospace’s broader international growth strategy in the casting sector. In August 2026, the group completed the acquisition of Creasey Castings Limited in the United Kingdom, a specialist in precision casting of magnesium and aluminum parts.

This acquisition marks the sixth acquisition made by the group since 2023, underscoring its commitment to scaling its global footprint and diversifying its material capabilities.
