Tunisia and Algeria Strengthen Tourism Cooperation with Twinning Agreement
A twinning agreement was concluded yesterday between the Tunisian Tourist Land Agency and the Algerian National Tourist Land Agency (ANFT Algeria) to reinforce cooperation in the field of tourist development. As part of this agreement, the Tunisian agency commits to supporting ANFT, sharing its expertise and know-how to contribute to the development of an effective strategy and the smooth operation of this new agency.
Furthermore, the two signatories aim to outline a shared vision, particularly in the harmonious and sustainable development of tourist zones and sites in both countries, especially in border areas.
The signing ceremony took place on Thursday evening, May 30, 2024. The Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Moez Belhassine, accompanied by his Algerian counterpart, Mokhtar Didouche, Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, oversaw the signing ceremony of this agreement.
