Tunisian Textile and Automotive Industries Join Forces with Strategic Partnership
During the General Assembly of the FTTH (Tunisian Federation of Textile and Clothing), a partnership agreement was signed with the TAA (Tunisian Automotive Association).
This event marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration between two key sectors of the Tunisian economy: textiles and automotive. The agreement was formalized by the President of the FTTH and the President of the TAA.
This alliance aims to create new synergies to build a modern, sustainable, and competitive national industry. By integrating technical textiles into automotive components, such as seats, steering wheels, and interior trim, this collaboration leverages natural complementarities between the two sectors.
The main objectives of this agreement include promoting innovation and co-creation to develop high-quality technical solutions, optimizing synergies between the textile and automotive sectors, and contributing to the sustainability of the Tunisian industrial value chain.
With over 250,000 jobs and an export turnover of €5.5 billion, the textile and automotive industries are essential to the Tunisian economy. This partnership aims to enrich exchanges and position Tunisia as a key player on the global industrial scene.
