900 Kilometers, 45 Days, 90 Hours of Cumulative Racing, and Already Over 94,000 Dinars Collected for Pediatric Cardiac Surgery: Hamza Fennira, a 24-Year-Old Tunisian, Achieves an Exceptional Feat to Give Children with Heart Conditions a Chance.

From south to north, Hamza crossed Tunisia, braving temperatures often exceeding 39°C, with a single objective: to improve the cardiology service at Bechir Hamza Hospital in Bab Saadoun, Tunis.

It all began on May 5, 2025, at 5:55 pm, in Chenini, Tataouine, in the south of the country. That's where Hamza, supported by the One Day One Dream association, started his journey to realize a dream: to collect 100,000 dinars to finance essential equipment for pediatric cardiac surgery.

"My joints are shot, my knees are about to give out, I have cramps everywhere... but the human heart is capable of achieving extreme things," he confessed in a video posted on Instagram, just a few days before completing his 855 km journey.

Day after day, Tunisian citizens ran alongside him for a few kilometers, relaying his message and multiplying donations. Yesterday, Sunday, June 29, 2025, Hamza crossed the finish line surrounded by his family, friends, and supporters, proving that solidarity can move mountains.

The adventure continues: donations remain open to reach and even exceed the expected 100,000 dinars. Every contribution will help provide better care for children undergoing heart surgery at Bechir Hamza Hospital. To participate, simply make a donation via the link available in his Instagram bio.
