Driving School Activity Remains Profitable in 2023, but Raises Concerns about Road Safety
The driving school industry is known for its good profitability, provided that the quality of services is high. In 2023, professionals benefited from a minimum number of hours of learning to be ensured by the candidate, along with a revaluation of the price of sessions. According to the latest statistics, 148,248 driving licenses were issued in 2023, including 128,088 for the tourism category. This year, up to the end of July, a total of 88,363 driving licenses were awarded, including 73,674 for tourism. The number of licenses far exceeds that of new registrations.
