BNA Assurances Reinforces Commitment to Sustainable Mobility in Tunisia
7th Edition of Electromobility Seminar Marks a Milestone
The installation of two electric vehicle charging stations has marked the 7th edition of the electromobility seminar organized by BNA Assurances, highlighting the insurer's commitment to transitioning towards sustainable mobility in Tunisia. Held at the company's headquarters, this event is part of a dynamic driven by its General Director, Faker Rais.
"We have chosen to install two charging stations, accessible to all citizens who wish to recharge their vehicles for free. This is a concrete contribution to the national effort," he stated. He also emphasized the company's pioneering position: "As early as 2023, when electromobility was still underdeveloped in Tunisia, we chose to be among the first to commit to this issue."
A National Context Favoring Electric Vehicles
According to the General Director, this initiative takes place in a national context marked by the reinforcement of incentives for electric vehicles. The 2026 Finance Law provides for tax and customs benefits aimed at encouraging their adoption, thus consolidating the country's orientation towards a progressive energy transition. In this context, BNA Assurances intends to support the evolution of the sector and this dynamic.
A Structuring Event for the Electromobility Ecosystem
The seminar, launched in 2023, has established itself as a bi-annual structuring meeting for the electromobility ecosystem. "We have maintained a pace of two editions per year since 2023, with the goal of anticipating the mutations of the sector and sharing knowledge," explained the General Director. He also highlighted the collective dimension of the event, bringing together experts, insurers, service providers, public actors, and institutions concerned with energy and environmental issues.
A Pioneering Role on the Market
Beyond the event, BNA Assurances also claims a pioneering role on the market. The General Director emphasized that the company is "the first and only one in Tunisia to offer insurance conditions and pricing specifically dedicated to electric vehicles," translating an anticipation of the sector's transformations. Through the installation of these two charging stations and the regular organization of this seminar, BNA Assurances reaffirms its positioning as an actor committed to innovation and sustainable development, while supporting the transition of the Tunisian automotive market.
