Tunisia Wins 59 Gold Medals at Afro-Asian International Olive Oil Competition
Tunisia has won an impressive 59 gold medals at the Afro-Asian International Olive Oil Competition (Aaiooc), which saw the participation of over 100 enterprises from 14 countries. The award ceremony took place on June 11th in Abu Dhabi.
In addition, Tunisia secured 4 silver medals, according to the publication of Global International Olive Oil Competitions (GIOOC).
This triumph places Tunisia at the top of the global ranking, surpassing traditionally renowned olive oil-producing countries such as Spain and Italy, which won 11 and 8 gold medals, respectively.
