Three Industrial Companies to Receive Financial Support from the State
The Tunisian government will provide financial support to three new industrial companies under the Industrial Upgrading Program, with validated investments of 55 million dinars and granted subsidies of 7 million dinars. The announcement was made following a meeting of the program's advisory committee, held on May 9 at the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy.
During the session, three company files operating in the agri-food, construction materials, and packaging sectors were validated. The objective is to strengthen their competitiveness through modernizing their production tools and improving the quality of their products.
Furthermore, the committee approved the conclusions of the restricted meeting of May 7, validating 27 upgrading projects representing a total investment of 51 million dinars and 8 million dinars in subsidies. Additionally, 60 priority technological projects received the green light for an investment volume exceeding 5 million dinars, supported by 2 million dinars in subsidies.
This program is part of the national strategy to modernize Tunisia's industrial fabric and better position it in the face of regional and international competition.
