Sihem Mabrouk specified that price discrepancies, particularly for poultry and red meat, have been corrected, and efforts are underway to bring prices back to their legal levels. Overall, she noted that merchants are respecting legal profit margins.

The observed reference prices are:

  • Potatoes: between 1,500 and 2 dinars per kilo
  • Tomatoes: between 1,600 and 1,980 dinars per kilo
  • Green peppers (sweet and hot): between 3 and 3,750 dinars per kilo
