Tunisian Transportation Company Reinforces Fleet with 300 New Buses
The Tunisian Transportation Company (Transtu) has strengthened its fleet with the arrival of 300 new buses, with a second batch of 418 additional buses expected to arrive soon. This operation aims to improve the supply of transportation means to regional companies in different regions of the country, according to a established priority order.
Second Batch of Buses Received
On Saturday, July 12, Transtu received the second batch of buses as part of an agreement signed with the People's Republic of China.
Minister of Transportation Inspects New Fleet
On Sunday, July 13, the Minister of Transportation, Rachid Amri, visited the warehouses in Bir El Kassaa (Ben Arous) and El Bokri (Ariana), accompanied by the CEO of Transtu, Abderraouf Salah, as well as several officials from the ministry and the company. The purpose of the visit was to inspect the security and safety conditions in the spaces designated to house the new buses.
Minister Emphasizes Importance of Rapid Deployment
The Minister stressed the importance of quickly making these buses available to citizens and called for the preservation of this new fleet to ensure a durable and quality service.
