Deadline for Filing Tax Declarations Announced
The General Tax Directorate (DGI) has announced that April 15, 2026, is the deadline for filing several tax declarations. This includes:
- The quarterly declaration for taxpayers under the flat-rate regime
- The quarterly declaration for taxpayers under the actual regime
- The monthly declaration for individuals
According to the tax administration's statement, this date marks the last legal day for filing, but it is not an obligation to file only on this date. The administration encourages all taxpayers to anticipate their procedures by filing their declarations before the deadline to:
- Avoid congestion at the finance revenue offices
- Limit the pressure on the computer systems
By filing early, taxpayers can ensure a smoother process and avoid any potential issues that may arise from last-minute submissions.
