Are You an African Startup with an Innovative Civic Tech Idea? Get Up to €15,000 in Funding!
The African Union Commission, in partnership with GIZ, is offering African startups a chance to receive funding of up to €15,000 for their innovative civic tech projects!
In addition to the funding, selected startups will also benefit from capacity building and technical support to maximize the impact of their projects.
The African Union's Civic Tech Fund (AUCTF) is launching its second call for proposals to support technological solutions that empower citizen engagement and contribute to the Agenda 2063 - "An Africa whose development is people-driven, relying on the potential of African people, especially women and youth, and caring for children. All African citizens will actively participate in decision-making in all domains."
Who Can Apply?
If your organization is working towards civic engagement, transparency, and community improvement through technology, this call is for you. Special attention will be given to projects led by women, youth, and marginalized groups.
