The Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII), a member of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN Tunisia), is organizing a B2B event in collaboration with Sicindustria and the Unioncamere Sicilia. The event, titled "Food&Drinks Mission2Sicily 2024," will take place on October 1-2, 2024, in Palermo, Italy.

Objective

The event aims to strengthen cooperation between companies operating in the agri-food sector, providing an opportunity to establish commercial partnerships and discover new business opportunities.

The event is primarily addressed to Tunisian buyers and importers. Participants may include:

  • Importers, distributors, and wholesalers of food and beverage products, including wines and spirits
  • Representatives of food chains, hypermarkets, and supermarkets
  • Purchasing agents for hotels and restaurants
  • Specialty food and wine stores
  • E-commerce operators

Interested Tunisian buyers are invited to register on the dedicated matchmaking platform.

Support for Participants

To facilitate participation, Sicindustria and the Union of Sicilian Chambers will cover the mission costs for 14 selected buyers, following an individual evaluation of applications. The selection criteria include the registration date, candidate rotation, and the year of establishment of the company.

The covered costs include:

  • Round-trip airfare to and from Sicily
  • Three-night accommodation in a four-star hotel
  • Airport transfers
  • Working lunches during the B2B meetings

Participants will also benefit from assistance in organizing company visits on October 2, as well as comprehensive support before, during, and after the event.

Eligibility

Selected buyers must have decision-making authority within their company to ensure fruitful exchanges.

This event represents a significant opportunity for Tunisian agri-food sector actors to develop their network and establish solid collaborations with Sicilian producers.
