Elon Musk Announces Ambitious Plans for Humanoid Robots and Autonomous Vehicles
During his participation in the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative, which kicked off yesterday in Riyadh, Elon Musk made a bold announcement: there will be at least 10 billion humanoid robots by 2040, with a unit price ranging from $20,000 to $25,000.
Earlier this month, Musk also unveiled the Cybercab, a new autonomous electric vehicle designed for driverless transportation. The interior of this model stands out with the absence of a steering wheel and pedals, while its doors open upwards with a butterfly-like motion.
The Cybercabs are expected to be available for sale by 2026, with a maximum price of $30,000. Musk expressed hope that they will be available even earlier, before 2027.
