Tunisian Economy Sees 2.4% Growth in Q3 2025
The Tunisian economy recorded a 2.4% growth rate in the third quarter of 2025, according to the latest estimates released by the National Institute of Statistics (INS) on November 15. In contrast, compared to the previous quarter (Q2 2025), the gross domestic product (GDP) in volume, adjusted for seasonal variations, remained virtually stable with a 0.0% change. This trend indicates that while economic activity continues to grow over a year, the change from one quarter to another does not reflect a significant acceleration.
It is worth noting that recently, the World Bank forecast an acceleration of the Tunisian economy's growth to 2.6% in 2025, compared to the previously estimated 1.9%. For the period 2026-2027, the bank anticipates a slight slowdown to 2.4%, due to strict financing conditions, persistent barriers to market access, and the lack of structural reforms.
